2 days into the New Year

...you've partied, reflected, shopped, made some promises/resolutions and perhaps already broken them? Loosing weight? Stopping smoking? Throwing out all the rubbish you're hoarding in your wardrobe?

Here are some goals to really consider this year:

1. Sort out your debts... as glamorous a life as we all may want; BIG BRANDS, cars, houses etc.. it's not worth building up debt only to break your back at 69yrs still trying to pay them off (or worse, handing them over to your kids). There are ways to still feel a million dollars without actually spending someone else's. Check out THIS IS MONEY for some tips and a start to clearing your debts and getting a hold of your money situation.

If you cant find those incredible treasure in the TKMAXX and TRAID... it's because i beat you to it! Give it a go!

My goal this year is to open every letter that comes through the door straight away. Last year I had some very 'uncool' financial surprises because I was too scared to open my letters!

2. The usual.... consider your fitness.... I'm going back to dancing (my first passion!) and I've always been a bit of a health freak even though I eat cake and chocolate a lot. Please. Do something. Skating? Boxing. Walking a few bus stops before getting on the bus..? Salsa... Gym? Jogging?.... Get a partner and implement some sort of exercise into your week.

I don't believe in dieting unless your like 20stone.

Chew 15 times, that should keep the weight off lol.

3. Get a hobby.... learn to bake!? Push the boundaries of your intelligence... maybe do a short course, learn a language.. join a book club? cooking club? Help someone else... through tutoring... read something out of your usual preference.... see the world through someone else's eyes... Perhaps instead of the usual holiday which consists of sunbathing, hangovers and holiday romances.. perhaps actually get to know the country you've visited... o_O

4. Again. Keep it intentional: colours, prints, cuts, height. wearing clothes isn't a joke. Don't be slack about it. You'll be amazed with what you can do with what you have....

Please. I beg you.
