I spent with family... church, watching movies and eating. Such a luxury!

Onto the events!!

We attended a boxing day special skating event at SilverSpoons Wembly... Usually every tuesday (make sure you check it out!) Roller Disco with great music and a perfect way to tone your legs... Got to get those regular exercise sessions in to make sure our CakeGirls are on top of our game... perhaps skating could get you on top of yours?

A word of advice. 

Don't skate in an exotic ethnic print bodycon unless you have some serious skills on skates. It's too much of a statement. 

Enough said. I learnt my lesson.

LoveLounge!!

We've been before and it's always a great night! Incredible artists (ShanSmile, Cynthia EriVo and MckNasty)... the man of the moment who brought it all together was Mo the Comedian... He deserves a spotlight in this blog.... I was in tears of laughter before the second act, top class performance a facilitation!! (Heels are pretty standard at this event though not essential)

Christmas Eve Wedding = Magical!!

I had the privilege of attending a wedding today, on Christmas Eve... so special and magical... low key and intimate.

Me and my aunty talked about the essence of a wedding, the trap we fall into spending more than we have and pleasing wayyy to many people. On the other hand.. under valuing a wedding; forgetting that we're setting an example for other people to be bold enough to commit in a society where commitment  is no longer of any value.

When us CakeGirl's meet up we're always talking about love, romance and future hopes. It's important to hope...

There is a lot of this out there... But it struck me how valuable advice is from someone who's been through. For example,  I can tell you what to do when your 6-inch heel snaps of (oh yes):  rock it like it's deliberate, party hard just like I did and let people take pictures of your super exclusive shoes. 

It's always good when you stumble across something that provokes you.

After all, CakeGirls are glamorously intelligent, emotive and passionate beings.

This blog was launched after the release,so it's best to mention it now before it gets too old. Can't get enough of this album! Favourite song is Music, the cover is fire and it's always a winner having Breezy feature on the single release. There's something about this record that is loyal to her roots but progressive for an artist who could potentially fade into the background among the likes of Kelly Rowland and a whole lot of dance based music.

This years october collboration the Maison Martin Margirla doesnt seem to have take off as well as the other collections... did you buy into it?
